For this upcoming You Oughta Know: Practitioner session, Clark Quinn will interview Steve Howard. Steve has been working in multimedia and eLearning since the latter part of last century (!). He has worked in numerous high tech industries including nuclear power, the US navy, cybersecurity and these days, the semiconductor industry. Initially Steve was a developer, but since 2013 Steve has been managing training development teams. Steve's current role has him running a global team of experts who are creating digital twins of highly complex semiconductor process tools. These 100% scale models are used in interactive virtual lessons which are delivered via Microsoft HoloLens to over 2000 service engineers. These lessons are used to train the service engineers how to perform maintenance and repair procedures on the process tools. To date the team has produced over 600 lessons for the global servicing teams.
