INTERACTIVE FRIDAYS WITH THIAGI

What it is

Thiagi has identified 66 interactive approaches facilitators and trainers can us when delivering training workshops, facilitating meetings, designing learning programs, and more.

Every two weeks, he will present one of those interactive strategies, share an activity that is representative of that strategy and answer any questions about its application.

 

Here’s how it’s going to work:

Every week for approximately 60 minutes or so, we’ll do something like this:

THE MAIN GATHERING

  • Thiagi will present the interactive approach to attendees. He will share the theory behind it and the principles & characteristics that distinguish it (~20 minutes).

  • You and other participants will experience of representative activity. (~30 minutes) You will also receive a protocol so you can remember how to run it yourself back on the job.

  • We will then debrief the mechanics of the activity and Thiagi will answer any questions you have about it or the general interactive strategy. (~10 minutes)

  • Of course… knowing Thiagi… anything can happen and the above outline may completely change. :)

THE AFTER GATHERING

  • Post session, we will open up the audio and chat for a short time, ~15 minutes, to enable further thoughts, networking, fun, shared support.

  • Here you’ll be able to recommend books, ask questions, post jobs, share your job-hunting stories, celebrate successes, share worries, get advice, offer advice, tell jokes, connect one on one, and more.

 

Particulars

Interactive Fridays with Thiagi is a new adventure.

The weekly gatherings will NOT be recorded for later viewing, except perhaps for the purposes of quality assurance, marketing, and program improvement. WHY NOT? Interactive Fridays is designed to create weekly experiential community-driven learning events. We want participants to be present, focused, and unworried.
