Articles, Videos, Book Reviews, Research Reviews, and More Content Resources

LDA members have immediate access to new articles, videos, research reviews, book reviews, and other content resources, as well as our archives. Also, each week we add content. Where does the content come from? The best L&D experts from around the world.

Monthly Workshops & Programs

We will run regular workshops. Some will be keynote-type sessions. Some will be one-or two- day programs. And others will be immersive, leading to true learning transfer. All members receive minimally a 50% discount upon registration for programs that are not free to members in the first place. Sessions are designed and delivered by the best experts in the world!

Mini-Conferences

Several times a year, we will host mini-conferences: events spanning 2-3 days with all programming specifically directed at a particular topic. In 2021 we hosted or first, The Leadership Development Mini-Conference, hosted by Nigel Paine. In 2023, we are already planning mini-conferences on Performance Consulting, Ed. Tech, Evidence-Informed DE&I, and The Evidence-Informed . As members, you get reduced fees and early enrollment.

Clubs

We will have a book club where the authors are likely to join the conversation. We will a journal club, where research translators and experts in the field will take a specific set of research and facilitate discussions about it. We will also have the other clubs our membership want, as well. Last year, we had sessions with authors Paul Kirschner and Mirjam Neelen, Clark Quinn, Karl Kapp, and others.

Our Very Own Publishing House!

LDA Press, an imprint of the Learning & Development Accelerator, is a boutique publisher focusing on evidence-informed titles that fill needed gaps in the L&D literature while offering authors the relationship they deserve. Members receive a discount on the books.

Career Support and Job Search Resources

By mid-year, we plan on having career development resources available to all members, as well as access to job search tools.

As a specialist in my field, I have learned to expect mostly old news and few true insights from professional events. Instead, during the L&D Conference I was surrounded by so much true, walk-the-walk kind of expertise that I could hardly keep up. It was the first professional event in which I really felt I was participating as opposed to simply attending.
