Humans are at the core of most of what we design. Which implies that we should know how humans think, work, and learn if we’re to design for them. In this video, we explore the simplest and most useful version of the human information processing loop (as it’s called in cognitive science) that’s the heart of how our minds work. In this brief but comprehensive experience, you’ll experience some of the core phenomena that underpin this exposition, and we’ll expose a few myths. This is the most valuable tool Clark can offer as a contribution to better outcomes for us as designers and our audiences as consumers.
