Dana Robinson
Dana Robinson has retired after more than 40 years as a highly acclaimed consultant, speaker, and author specializing in the areas of performance consulting and strategic partnering. Dana's most recent position was as the Lead Performance Consultant with Handshaw, Inc., partnering with this firm to build capability to market, sell, deliver and enhance the performance consulting and strategic partnering services developed by Dana and her husband, Jim Robinson.
Dana and her husband co-authored the first book on Performance Consulting which was published in 1995. They are acknowledged as bringing the performance consulting discipline into the day-to-day application and practice of people within the Human Resources, Talent Development, and Organization Development fields. Their firm, Partners in Change, was based in Pittsburgh and for many years they also had an office in Toronto. With her global clients, Dana brought strategic partnering capabilities to people in Asia, Africa, Europe, and South America.
Dana is the recipient of numerous awards including ASTD/ATD's Distinguished Contribution Award, the Thomas Gilbert Award from ISPI for Distinguished Professional Achievement, and was inducted as a Fellow into the Leadership and Organizational Development Hall of Fame. With her husband, Dana has co-authored seven books that have been collectively translated into more than two dozen languages.
Dana's version of 'retirement' includes volunteer work, participating in two book clubs, taking courses at her local university, and travel with her husband providing time to be with family and friends. She will continue her quest to be a life long learner!
